It is the result of about 9 months of work by an absolute dream and engaged team. 

Coincidence? Maybe yes, maybe not, but that project was in the oven for quite a time and it was ready to get out there. 

What’s next for them?

For its first months, an interim board of directors composed of Bénédicte Herbout (Chairwoman), Martina Weinberger (Deputy Chairwoman), Deborah Pohl (Treasurer), Jan Störkel (Board Member), Guillaume Delpont (Board Member) and Estelle Lauvergne (Board member) will aim at setting up most of the admin basis before the first General Assembly that will elect a final Board for a two years mandate on September 28th. 

But that’s not all. In fact, Climate Fresk Germany will have two entities: a public interest not for profit association, that will own 100% of a limited company. Once the limited company is profitable, it will finance the association. The fact that the association owns the company will protect the latter’s purpose. The person writing this finds it genius and is quite proud of the team that is making this happen. 

Praise aside, the German team is thrilled to be now the third official Climate Fresk entity in the world after France and Switzerland and is very much looking forward to collaborating with all the future Climate Fresk (and sister workshops!) organisations worldwide.
