Needless to say, if you don’t find the answers you need, feel free to send us an email.

The (26th) Conference of the Parties, the largest international political conference on climate change. Countries which signed the UNFCCC are known as “Parties to the Convention.” These countries meet regularly to discuss their progress and negotiate new solutions. COP is the largest of these meetings and happens about once per year. In 2021, the 26th COP will be held in Glasgow, Scotland.

The COP26 takes place from 1-12 November 2021

The COP26 takes place in Glasgow, Scotland.

You can best get there by train or car sharing from London. If you feel like you need a workout and you have some spare time, join the cycling Climate Fresk squad (reach out to Bénédicte or Sébastien)

The ‘Glasgow Climate Education Summit’, an event organised by the Climate Fresk in partnership with the COY16

The Climate Education Kick-off (aka CEKO) is a unifying event that offers exactly that: the opportunity to train hundreds of students on climate science.

The (16th) Conference of Youth. An official YOUNGO event in preparation for the COP where young people from all over the world come together to help tackle climate change. The organisation of this event is done entirely by young people too. The 16th version of COY will take place towards the end of 2021.

Have a look here.If you still have any questions, contact us at cop26@climatecollage.org.

You will have time off for sure! This is volunteer work, not forced labor!

Yes, as soon as you’re a facilitator, you have your place on board.Learn more about becoming a facilitator.

YES! We will need brains and hands also from afar. For example video editors, proofreader as we aim at communicating  A LOT when we’re here. Check out which working group you’d like to be part of, we have plenty of work to share 🙂

This does not make us happy either. To be 100% transparent, this is because, as an association, the Climate Fresk already operates with limited funding. All volunteers are working on a best case scenario, which would be that the association pays for transport and food. But as of today, it is impossible for us to make any promise on that.

This is why we have a crowdfunding campaign ongoing. The more we manage to raise, the more chance there is we will be able to support low-income facilitators. Feel free to contact us at cop26@climatecollage if you are in this position – no judgment here!

It depends on the airbnb/youth hostel booking terms and conditions. It also depends on the association’s cash flow and on the reason why the participation is cancelled. We hope to guarantee at least a 40% refund. If someone else can take your spot, it should be possible for you to be fully refunded. We navigate in the dark and we are really grateful if you’re still considering joining the adventure despite this.

Climate Collage is now Climate Fresk!

We are still the same! We just changed our name ;)
