As a member:
You are invited to the annual General Assembly
You have voting rights on strategic directions
You can vote to elect board members
You are a full part of the community
You can benefit from the association’s tools and resources
You take part in events highlighted by the association and its members
You are covered by the association’s liability insurance
In a lot of associations, membership is mandatory. At Climate Fresk, it’s a different story – with over 100,000 freskers worldwide, only a small fraction are actually members. That’s a gap worth closing!
Becoming a member is a way of saying: I believe in this project, and I’m in. 💪
In an association, membership is a simple act – but a powerful one. It helps to:
- Define who makes up the active community
- Ensure fairer access to resources
- Identify and support those who want to get involved for the long haul
- Have a real say in strategic decisions by voting at the General Assembly
- Strengthen the credibility of the project with our partners and institutions
Simply put, membership brings stability. 🧱 And right now, stability is what makes our impact possible. 💥
Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st.
Any membership taken out after Oct 7th, 2026 is valid through December 31st, 2027 — so you have plenty of time to get settled in.
Easy – just check your profile! Your membership status is displayed right below your counter.
Don’t worry – this usually happens when you take out your membership with a different email address than the one linked to your fresker account (the one you use to log into your facilitator space).

Yes – as of January 2026, membership is required to be part of La Fresque du Climat, wherever you are in the world.
We know that the cost of living varies enormously across the globe, and we trust our community of freskers to do what’s right for them. That’s why the Standard Membership comes in three price tiers 6 – including one at just €5 – so everyone can contribute in a way that makes sense for their situation. Join however you can. We’ve got you. 🌍 And if you still have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your country coordinator!
These countries have their own national entities or non-profits that manage their local communities independently – including memberships. Reach out to them directly and they’ll point you in the right direction! 🙌
