Words from… Thomas Doguet, Country coordinator of Senegal
Dear Freskers,
Do you know about the World Water Forum? It’s the most significant international event about water. Several thousand participants took part in the event, including adults and children, representatives from the public and private sectors, heads of state and ministers… and we were there too! Taking place in sub-Saharan Africa for the first time, this was an opportunity for us to raise awareness and to deploy Climate Fresk in this continent.
As you know, water and climate change are closely linked: melting of glaciers, ice floes/sea ice and ice caps, water temperature, water cycle, rising water levels, freshwater resources, etc. The issues are complex and varied… So, Climate Fresk was the perfect tool to address them through the lens of climate change.
