A great achievement at the World Forum on Human Rights in Argentina

Climate Fresk knows no boundaries and our Freskers are mobilising all over the world. This month, the spotlight is on the remarkable presence of Climate Fresk at the World Forum on Human Rights in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Thanks to the strong involvement of Veronica Gomez Tomas and Olivier Doncker, Country Coordinators in Argentina, and a team of six facilitators, Climate Fresk had its own stand at the third edition of the World Forum on Human Rights! The event, which took place from March 20 to 24, welcomed 21,000 people from 98 different countries. The Fresk Quiz was hosted throughout, and a complete workshop was also organised.

According to Hugo Fernandes, Fresker in Buenos Aires, “our participation served as a reminder of the importance of the fight against climate change in protecting human rights. By degrading living conditions for people in all regions of the world and exacerbating inequalities, the climate crisis poses a significant threat to the rights of populations, especially the most vulnerable.”

This event was also a wonderful opportunity for the Argentina team to build stronger bonds among its members. It fostered a spirit of collaboration and a great group dynamic in the face of the challenges of participating in such a large-scale event.

A big thank you to Veronica Gomez Tomas, Olivier Doncker, AgustΓn Alvarez Vega, AnahΓ Roca, Marion Klotz, Ana MarΓa Vega Vega, Hugo Fernandes, and Fabrizio Contartese for their commitment!
