A million thanks!
It was a great pleasure to come together on April 5th to celebrate this milestone and to unite our incredible community around a shared ambition!
Our joy would not have been complete if we had not taken this opportunity to present the association and the people who work together to move things forward. Among them, Cédric, our President, but also Frédéric Giuli, Benoit Marienval and Ana Robb, all members or former members of the Board of Directors. We were also delighted to spotlight permanent staff who bring life to the association with their talents, such as Raja Kadi, Nina Beltram, Pierre Desaint-Denis, or Hervé Rose. April 5th was also an occasion to thank and honour some highly involved Freskers, local and country coordinators… A special thank you to Lucile de Castelbajac, Ash Goddard, Sheila Suarez de Florez, Stephanie Rawi, and Myriam Darmoni Charbit! A word also for all the volunteers who participated in the thank-you message for the permanent team: what a surprise to see this amazing feedback! It made us so pleased and strengthened both our will and our energy: we plan to watch this video over and over again!
What about now?
Now, you know more about the association, and we know more about you. And it won’t stop here! We are convinced that by working together, by promoting the closest proximity between the community and the association, we will succeed in bringing as many people as possible on board and create the necessary shifts for the preservation of life. Climate Fresk is just a first step, but it is an essential one! The more we raise awareness, mobilise, and promote collective action, the better.
Cédric shared our new challenge, which is to reach 1 million facilitators! It is both achievable and measurable. Together, we can do it! Many thought 1 million participants was only a dream, but we did it: why couldn’t we achieve this new goal?
From this campaign, we will remember the collective effort behind this success, the essential contribution of the largest number, being Freskers, permanent staff, local and country coordinators, members of the Board of Directors… We need to get to know each other even better, and we will do everything we can to achieve this!
