I’m Heather Noreen, a French-American mum-of-5, co-founder of several associations that support the ecological transition, and a facilitator of fresk-style workshops. I have a passion for life and I love to play!
I took part in my first Climate Fresk in November 2019, and I did my training online over lockdown. I ran my first Fresk for 18 teachers in September 2020. On that day, I deeply understood the phrase: ‘give a little to receive a lot’. I gained my green belt in February 2023.
Every morning, I wake up thinking that we are fast approaching that famous social tipping point. Climate Fresk contributes to this and is one of the most effective ways of raising people’s awareness of what’s at stake and the scale of the problem, while inspiring them to take action themselves.
My best moment… to be honest, each Fresk is so special and unique. It’s such a great way to meet people. I think what gives me the greatest pleasure is meeting up again with the facilitators I trained. It all comes full circle.
The Climate Tour is a 3,000 miles bike ride across the United States to run workshops on the ecological transition, such as Climate Fresk, 2tonnes, the Food Collage, etc. The aim is to raise awareness of climate issues and planetary boundaries, and reach as many different people as possible.
The Climate Tour will run from 1 March to 2 June 2024, stopping in 58 cities across the United States!
First and foremost, I’m doing this because I believe that the world of tomorrow only emerges when we think outside the box and take risks. I’m doing it to inspire others to be bold and do the same. I’m doing it to make my own contribution to this presidential election. I’m doing it for the future of generations to come.
